About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Product Marketing in Independent Distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the product marketing strategy for independent distribution channels, with a focus on independent marketing organizations and brokerage general agencies. This role requires a strategic and results-oriented leader with a strong background in marketing annuity solutions through independent distribution. The AVP will be tasked with leading content creation for the development and launch of annuity products, aligning marketing efforts with sales objectives, and ensuring that all materials are in compliance with legal and brand standards. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 7-10 years of experience in the sales and marketing of annuity products, and a FINRA Series 6 registration or the ability to obtain it. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in developing and managing marketing plans, leading product launches, and building strong relationships across the organization. Critical competencies for success in this position include strategic and commercial orientation, collaboration, influence, and a strong analytical mindset. The ideal candidate will be adept at simplifying complex products, influencing senior stakeholders, and leading cross-functional initiatives to achieve measurable results.
