By joining our clinical team, you will train and work alongside two exceptional, deeply compassionate pediatric leaders:

• Dr. Aaron Duffy (Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist): Adopted from South Korea and raised in California, Dr. Duffy earned his B.S. at UC Santa Barbara and his DDS at the University of the Pacific. After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry and a two-year pediatric specialty residency in Tucson, AZ, he dedicated his career to replacing childhood dental anxiety with joyful experiences. (When he's not caring for teeth, you'll find him exploring Northern Nevada's outdoors, playing board games, golfing, and hunting for new foods with his family!)
• Dr. Cintia Teglia: Born and raised in Mexico, Dr. Teglia earned her dental degree at the UOP Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Guided by her faith and a deep commitment to serving others, she has been proudly caring for children in our local community since 2003. She loves spending time with her husband, two children, three grandkids, and dog, Bullet-especially while enjoying the beach and local food (especially tacos)!

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Master Pediatric Chairside Assisting: Learn four-handed clinical assisting to support our doctors during routine checkups, restorative care, and specialized pediatric procedures.
• Cultivate Patient Confidence: Greet kids and parents with high energy, using child-friendly language and gentle techniques to ease anxieties and make every visit fun.
• Clinical Room Operations: Learn how to prepare, sterilize, and turn over treatment rooms efficiently between appointments while keeping patient comfort front-and-center.
• Infection Control & Compliance: Master pristine sterilization, instrument care, and infection control standards in accordance with CDC, OSHA, and ADA guidelines.
• Team Synergy: Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teammates to maintain a smooth, cheerful, and on-time patient flow.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

• Experience: Zero prior dental experience required! Bring enthusiasm, empathy, and a strong work ethic-we will handle all of your clinical training.
• Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Communication & Mindset: Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, patient, and cheerful personality that puts children at ease.
• Team Spirit: A desire to learn, grow professionally, and collaborate in a positive, mission-driven team environment.
• Compliance & Safety: This position is safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a routine pre-employment drug screen.
