Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

Operate CNC machines by following programmed instructions while ensuring optimal machine performance and making necessary adjustments. Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions and quality. Responsibilities also include loading raw materials, selecting and installing correct cutting tools and fixtures, aligning and clamping workpieces accurately, and performing machine calibration and testing before production.

Responsibilities

• Run the CNC machine according to programmed instructions.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions and quality.
• Load raw materials onto the machine.
• Select and install correct cutting tools and fixtures based on part design.
• Align and clamp workpieces accurately.
• Perform machine calibration and testing before production.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with machining processes.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring processes and ensuring quality.
• Ability to operate without performing setups.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
