Events Manager (USA, Remote)

Role Summary

We’re looking for an Events Manager to join our Marketing team and lead WIT’s growing events program across industry conferences, exhibitions, proprietary & online events. 

This is an end-to-end role for someone who can identify the right opportunities, build the events roadmap and execute exceptional experiences from initial planning through to post-event follow-up. You’ll own the details, but always with the bigger commercial picture in mind: how each event can build awareness, create meaningful connections and generate pipeline.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong event management experience with commercial instinct. You’ll work closely with sales to identify priority audiences and opportunities, maximize our presence before and during events, and ensure leads and relationships are effectively followed up afterwards.

You’ll also help grow WIT’s own events program, developing creative ways to bring prospects, partners and customers together through private events, dinners, activations, webinars and other experiences.

Above all, we’re looking for someone highly organized, proactive and resourceful who can take complete ownership of a busy events calendar and make things happen.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage WIT’s events strategy, roadmap and calendar
• Identify new events, sponsorships and opportunities that align with our target markets and commercial priorities
• Lead event logistics and delivery, including registrations, sponsorship assets, vendors, travel coordination and event requirements
• Manage WIT’s exhibition presence, working with internal creative resources and external vendors across booth design, production, merchandise and AV
• Partner closely with sales to plan event strategy, target accounts, meetings and lead-generation activity
• Lead WIT’s proprietary events strategy, including private events, dinners, customer and prospect experiences
• Own and execute WIT’s webinar and digital events program
• Coordinate pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up with content, sales and marketing
• Keep sales, leadership and relevant teams informed on event plans, requirements and opportunities
• Track event performance, pipeline and ROI to inform future investment
• Identify ways to continually improve WIT’s event presence, experiences and commercial impact

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years’ experience in B2B events, field marketing, experiential marketing or a similar role
• Proven experience planning and executing conferences, exhibitions, sponsorships and events from start to finish
• Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of how events support demand generation, pipeline and sales
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
• Proactive and resourceful, with the confidence to take ownership and solve problems independently
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, comfortable working across sales, leadership, customers, partners and external vendors
• Experience developing event concepts and identifying new opportunities, not just executing an existing calendar
• Experience managing event budgets, suppliers and sponsorship deliverables
• A good eye for brand and experience working with creative teams on booths, collateral, merchandise and event experiences
• Experience running webinars and digital events
• Comfortable using CRM and marketing platforms such as HubSpot to support event campaigns, lead management and reporting
• Willing and able to travel regularly across the U.S. for events
