About the Position

Opportunity:

Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexible scheduling
• One weekend day per month only if needed, with a flex day provided during the week in exchange
• 8-hour shifts
• Work within the Therapy Department in the main building
• Document using Meditech documentation system
• Carry a caseload of approximately 10-12 patients per day, not all requiring daily visits
• Average patient caseload across the department is 40 patients
• Preferred experience in orthopedics, neurology, and general medical; CCU experience is a plus
• Prior acute care experience preferred but not required
• Productivity expectation is 50%, meaning 50% of hours worked should be billable
• 1 rehab tech available for unit support
• Dress code: scrubs or business casual
• Required certification: PT degree, at least a bachelor's degree
• Required certification: BCS
• Must be fingerprinted before hire per New Mexico state requirements, with documentation that the check is being processed
