Job Description – Specialist – Customer Accounts (2610002253) Overview Sunoco Sales and Account Management teams are actively engaged in signing new customers and renewing or extending supply agreements with existing customers. The Specialist Customer Accounts role is responsible for identifying process improvement in the setup process for new customer onboarding and customer renewals, proactively identifying and resolving problems and ensuring a smooth transition. Responsibilities Recommend process improvements that result in more timely and accurate customer setup results. Oversee cross‑functional workflow queues for internal service providers to complete the full customer setup process, ensuring everything from brand image conversion to accurate first fuel invoice via Sunoco B2B portal and credit card processing setup. Serve as a point of contact for sales, account teams, and internal service providers for customer setups/changes. Proactively identify data discrepancies related to missing or conflicting customer information and documentation, coordinating with sales and functions such as Supply, Transportation, and Accounting to determine resolution and escalation paths. Identify technical process gaps and efficiencies, collaborating with key teams and IT for enhancements. Perform analysis on customer setup metrics and KPIs and report on metrics for continuous improvement. Assist in providing analysis and reporting for management on sales and customer performance along with pipeline forecasting. Create new and update existing dashboards and reports, and communicate logic to management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. At least two years of business, project management, and/or financial analyst experience. Experience using Salesforce, SAP, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite; PowerBI experience is a plus. Detail oriented with meticulous data accuracy across multiple systems. Strong oral and written communication skills, comfortable interacting across departments and levels. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization and timely completion of projects. Self‑directed with the ability to work with little supervision. Experience Levels Specialist/Analyst level: Bachelor’s degree and 2‑5 years of relevant experience. Senior Specialist/Analyst level: Bachelor’s degree and 5‑8 years of relevant experience. Lead Specialist/Analyst level: Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience. Working Conditions Typical office environment. Stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, with potential exposure to materials, chemicals, extreme temperatures, loud machinery, and required personal protective equipment. Location United States – TX – Dallas. Full‑Time – Operations – Travel 10% Regular schedule.
