Paraprofessionals – Summer Program (Multiple Openings)

We are seeking multiple dedicated Paraprofessionals for a part-time summer assignment in Thomaston, Connecticut.

These positions are ideal for individuals who enjoy supporting students in a structured summer learning environment. Paraprofessionals commonly assist teachers with instructional support, student supervision, and classroom management in both general and special education settings.

Position Details
Location: Thomaston, CT
Schedule: Part-Time
Dates: June 24, 2026 – July 17, 2026
Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $18/hour
Openings: Several positions available
Placement: Assigned based on experience and preference

Responsibilities
Support teachers in classroom instruction and activities
Assist students with academic and behavioral needs
Provide supervision during structured learning time
Support small group and individualized instruction as needed
Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment
Follow directions from classroom teachers and program staff

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with children preferred
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
Strong communication and reliability

Part-time morning schedule only
Placement determined by district needs and candidate experience
