Responsibilities: Assist customers with plant selection and provide expert advice on care and maintenance. Maintain the plant nursery by watering, pruning, and organizing plants for optimal display. Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system. Educate customers on product features, benefits, and best practices for plant care. Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing displays and promotions. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience. Stay informed about new products and industry trends to better assist customers. Requirements: Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a nursery or garden center. Strong knowledge of plants, horticulture, and landscape design. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory. Physical ability to lift and move plants and supplies as needed. Passion for gardening and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
