Locum- Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology

About the Job

Medical Oncology Physician Opportunity | 6-Month Assignment | Outpatient Setting

We are seeking a flexible and adaptable Medical Oncology provider to join a growing outpatient oncology program. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative team in a well-supported clinic environment utilizing Epic EMR with AI-assisted charting.

Position Highlights:

Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
1-hour blocked lunch daily
6-month assignment
Full-time highly preferred, but near full-time availability will be considered
Outpatient clinic setting with occasional inpatient consults
Average patient volume: 18-20 patients per day
15-chair infusion center
Epic EMR experience required
Overtime available after 40 hours/week

Clinical Responsibilities:

Chemotherapy
Immunotherapy
Targeted therapy
Hormone therapy

Support Staff Includes:

1 MD
1 NP
3 CMA/CNA support staff

Requirements:

Active New York license required
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Recent, up-to-date work history with no employment gaps over 30 days
Physician statement required for any malpractice history, regardless of outcome
