On-Site Truck and Trailer Maintenance and Repairs: Our mobile repair experts come to you, performing all maintenance and repairs at your location and around your schedule. All of our technicians are D.O.T. and brake certified and are capable of performing a great number of repairs and services.ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU'LL DOPerform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.QualificationsWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVEMinimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience required.1 year of performing DOT inspections requiredClass A CDL preferred.Previous Reefer repair experienceCommunication skillsAbility to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when neededValid Driver's License required.Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skillsAbility to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.3 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.Basic computer skills.Must possess proper toolsWHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUTHigh School education or equivalentCertifications are a plusWelding experienceWorking Conditions:* Working in the outdoors* Working under extreme weather conditions* Extreme Heat/Cold /HumidityThe ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.BenefitsWHAT WE OFFER YOUFirst and second shifts availableHealth, Dental and Vision PlansFSA and HSA optionsVarious life insurance optionsSupplemental insurance plans401K with company matchPaid time offSalary information: $36 - $38/hr. – pay is commensurate with experiencePrestige Fleet Services is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer, and is committed to providing employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, age, color, national origin, ethnicity, creed, religion, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and expression, marital status, pregnancy, or veteran status.Pay RangeUSD $29.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.
