Job Summary The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, clinical care, and ancillary personnel while maintaining standards and ethics of professional nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies. Provides strong analytical, decision-making skills and possesses positive communication skills. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Implement and evaluate nursing care interventions. Educate patients and support staff on health conditions and treatment protocols. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards. Qualifications Graduate from a nationally or state-approved nursing program. Hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment. American Heart Association BLS certified. Corrections experience is a plus.
