Fish Processor

Our client, an industry leader in seafood processing, is seeking a Fish Processor (not seasonal) to join their team. As a Fish Processor (not seasonal), you will be part of the Production department supporting the processing and production of smoked seafood products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fish Processor (not seasonal)

Location: Bellingham, WA

Pay Range: $20/hr

Shift: Monday - Wednesday (Thursdays some weeks) 6:30-5 (but usually off by 4:00)

What's the Job?

• Assist in various entry-level duties related to seafood processing and production

• Operate machinery such as vacuum packers, slicers, and skinning machines

• Ensure product is prepared according to specifications, including accurate weighing and labeling

• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment following Standard Operating Procedures

• Support team members in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment to meet production goals

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift and stack up to 55 lbs

• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment

• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow safety protocols

• Food handling experience is preferred but not required
