Golang Backend Engineer - Cloud-Native Microservices

About the Role We are looking for a talented Golang Engineer to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing high-performance, scalable backend systems using Go (Golang). You will work on building robust microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software. Roles and Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Golang. Build RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and backend components that are robust and efficient. Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions. Participate in architectural design discussions and propose best practices for software development. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and design patterns. Develop automated unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure software quality. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Work in an Agile development environment, participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Strong programming skills in Go (Golang) and familiarity with its ecosystem. Experience with backend development, including RESTful APIs, gRPC, and microservices architecture. Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
