Surgical Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in peri-procedural care in an ambulatory endoscopy environment in Seattle, WA. The clinician will support GI/Endo procedures by preparing procedure rooms, maintaining sterile technique, handling specimens, and assisting with scope set up and breakdown. This role requires familiarity with ambulatory procedural workflow and collaboration with the charge nurse and procedural team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program (NBSTSA or equivalent).
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum 1 year of GI tech experience in an endoscopy or ambulatory GI setting.
• Experience with scope set up, bedside precleaning of scopes, specimen collection, and room turnover.
• Experience charting in Cerner or comparable electronic health record preferred.
• Ability to orient with an experienced GI tech and demonstrate competency during unit-specific orientation.
• Willingness to float rarely to nearby facilities such as Federal Way, Bellevue, or Lynnwood when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) via HSPA certificate preferred.
• Experience assisting with esophageal motility studies or gastric lab procedures preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of ambulatory procedural or endoscopy-specific experience preferred if not already listed above.

Assignment Details

• Shift notes indicate 8-hour days, 10:00 a.m.6:30 p.m., MondayFriday.
• Procedural environment with 4 procedure suites, 1 gastric lab, and 1 HRA room.
• Typical case mix includes EGDs, colonoscopies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies.
• Orient with an experienced GI tech until competency is demonstrated. Orientation hours indicated: 12.
• Rare floating to nearby facilities (Federal Way, Bellevue, Lynnwood) may be required.
