Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with orthopedic and DaVinci robotic experience for an evening shift OR position requiring prior travel assignment experience.

Details

• Operating room setting performing scrub duties for surgical procedures
• 8-hour evening shift from 11a-7:30p, 5 shifts per week
• Weekend, call, and holiday coverage required
• Must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in
• May be asked to precept new staff

Requirements

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program
• Certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Orthopedic surgery experience required
• Scrubbing experience required
• DaVinci robotic surgery experience required
• Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of OR equipment and instrumentation

Additional Information

• Function under the direct supervision of an RN, assisting in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients
• Perform routine and delegated duties according to hospital and department standards and policies
• Perform technical scrub duties with precise and efficient reaction to all situations
• Help create and maintain a sterile surgical environment
• Ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered
