Sibanye-Stillwater | Fairless Hills, PA Full-time, Onsite, 1st Shift Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a safety-focused and dependable Milling Operator to support operations within the Mechanical Reduction Department at our global precious metals refining and recycling facility. This hands‑on role supports material processing activities including milling, sifting, grinding, and particle size reduction while ensuring all production, environmental, quality, and safety standards are consistently met in a heavy industrial environment. What You Will Do Operate milling and material processing equipment within the Mechanical Reduction Department Perform milling, sifting, grinding, and particle size reduction activities Identify, sort, and process non‑ferrous materials and metals Support quality control and production tracking activities Monitor equipment during operation and identify irregularities or operational concerns Maintain accurate production and operational records Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with procedures Work safely in a heavy industrial environment while wearing required PPE, including Tyvek suits and supplied air equipment Follow production schedules and support operational targets Assist with general housekeeping and operational support activities as needed What You Bring High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in machine operation, milling, recycling, construction, cement mixing, ceramics, or similar industrial environments strongly preferred Ability to work in a hot, heavy industrial environment Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Strong attention to safety and adherence to operating procedures Reliable transportation required due to limited public transportation access Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods, including Tyvek suits with supplied air Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around industrial equipment for extended periods Ability to work in conditions involving heat, noise, dirt, odors, and industrial materials Schedule & Benefits 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, onsite in Fairless Hills Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment 401(k) with company match effective the 1st of the month following 6 months of employment Paid holidays, vacation, PTO, personal holidays, and community days Company-provided safety boots Stable, mission‑driven organization focused on sustainability and operational excellence Compliance Requirements Must meet ITAR and NAID eligibility requirements Ability to pass background screening, pre-employment drug testing, physical examination, and respirator clearance requirements Equal Opportunity Employer Sibanye-Stillwater is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees are treated with dignity and respect.
