Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement therapeutic interventions and exercises following each patient's OT plan of care
  • Document patient progress accurately and timely to track recovery milestones
  • Assist in patient and family education on adaptive techniques and home safety
  • Communicate patient status and responses to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance protocols in every session
  • Empower patients to regain functional independence and confidence in daily living

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Washington COTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Strong teamwork and patient care skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • A passion for helping others and a commitment to quality care

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid understanding of occupational therapy techniques and interventions
  • Proficient in clinical documentation and electronic health records
  • Skilled in patient education and family communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehab team
  • Patient-centered approach with empathy and cultural sensitivity
