Connect Staffing is hiring a Masker / Racker / Packer for a metal parts anodizing and metal plating facility in Santa Ana, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $17.40/hr on a Monday–Friday day shift. In this role, you will mask metal parts with a paint brush before plating, hang them on racks for the anodizing process, and carefully pack finished parts to protect their plated finish. This is a detail-oriented production role with consistent weekday hours and a clear schedule.

Pay: $17.40/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Responsibilities

• Mask metal parts with a paint brush to protect specific surfaces before they enter the anodizing / plating process.
• Rack parts onto hangers and position them correctly for the plating line.
• Inspect finished parts against order specifications and check appearance of plated surfaces.
• Handle small components such as bolts and screws carefully during masking and racking.
• Pack finished plated parts using appropriate materials to prevent finish damage during transit.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience reading and following order specifications or work instructions for individual parts.
• Familiarity working with chemicals in a production or finishing environment.
• Background in metal finishing, anodizing, powder coating, plating, or paint prep.
• Experience handling small hardware components such as bolts, screws, or brackets in a production setting.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish — a strong plus in this workplace.
• Experience in roles requiring detailed or precise manual work (e.g., masking, assembly, inspection, or surface prep).
