As our Word Processor for our Environmental team in Santa Ana, CA , you will support technical staff and project managers across our Southern California offices, including Orange County, San Diego, Riverside, and Pasadena. In this role, you will produce and finalize high-quality technical documents, proposals, reports, and presentations in a fast-paced consulting environment while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and professionalism across all deliverables.

What You'll Do
As our Word Processor you will provide high-level document production and administrative support for environmental projects and business operations. You will collaborate with project teams to produce accurate, polished deliverables while balancing multiple deadlines and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Document Production & Formatting: Produce and format reports, proposals, presentations, and correspondence
• Document Assembly : Compile and finalize multi-source technical documents
• Quality Control : Review documents for formatting, grammar, punctuation, and accuracy
• Spreadsheet & PDF Support : Create Excel tables/charts and manage PDFs using Adobe Acrobat
• Workflow Coordination : Manage multiple assignments and communicate proactively on deadlines
• File Management : Maintain organized electronic filing and version control systems
• Team & Administrative Support : Assist project teams and provide backup operational support as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of word processing, document production, or administrative support experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat and large technical documents
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range : $29-$38 per hour ($60,320-$79,040 annually)
• Incentives : Discretionary bonus and recognition programs
