Permanent | Pediatric And Adult Dentist | Hartsville, South Carolina TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced general dentist for a full-time permanent opportunity in South Carolina. This position focuses primarily on pediatric dentistry within a school-based dental programwhile also providing adult dental services in a community healthcare setting using a transportable dental model. Position details: Job type: Permanent Specialty: General Dentistry Setting: School-based dental program / community health center Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Hours: Typically Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm Location: South Carolina Patient population: Primarily pediatric with adult coverage in clinic setting Practice environment: School-based pediatric dental program community-focused healthcare environment mobile/transportable dental care model daily travel required within a five-county region opportunity to provide preventive and restorative dental care to underserved populations Clinical responsibilities: Perform comprehensive dental examinations for pediatric and adult patients Diagnose and treat dental decay and oral health conditions Perform restorative dental procedures including fillings and extractions Diagnose and manage gum disease Perform corrective procedures related to periodontal disease Administer anesthetics and prescribe medications as appropriate Take and interpret dental X-rays Place sealants and provide preventive dental services Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and preventive care Create treatment plans and provide follow-up care Utilize transportable dental equipment within school and clinic settings Requirements: DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Active South Carolina dental license required Current DEA preferred Minimum 3–5 years of dental experience preferred Strong pediatric dental experience preferred Comfortable working independently in school-based settings Excellent patient communication and chair-side manner Ability to travel daily within assigned coverage region Compensation & benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Employer-paid malpractice coverage through FTCA CME allowance and CME time Retirement plan with employer contribution Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Short-term and long-term disability coverage Life insurance Loan repayment eligibility available Relocation assistance available
