Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nights)

Schedule

This is a 36-hour per week position, with a rotating night schedule of 12-hour shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM or 7 PM to 7 AM. A weekend requirement includes one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must work at least one holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

Join a large, high-acuity Emergency Department featuring 80 treatment spaces in a modern environment. Our team is experienced, collaborative, and supportive, focusing on high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care as the area’s first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist in the implementation of specialized geriatric emergency care protocols
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent nursing experience is required
• Active NY RN license required
• Certifications: NIH and AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
