Travel CT Technologist - $2,372 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Richmond, Virginia. Responsibilities As a CT Tech, you will use computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues and ensure images are accurate for physician interpretation. Prepare and care for patients undergoing CT scanning, including explaining procedures and providing reassurance as required. Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests. Position patients appropriately for scanning and follow safety procedures when working with radiation. Use PACS systems and maintain accurate patient records. Qualifications 1 year of CT experience required. Must have BLS certification. ARRT (CT) certification/registration and state-specific licensing when required. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology; ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean, or stoop as needed. Experience with radiocontrast administration and evaluating CT image quality. Requirements Duration: 13 weeks; Schedule: 36 hours per week; Shift: 12 hours, days; Employment Type: Travel.
