HousekeeperThe Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The aide will perform various cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and staff areas to ensure a healthy and pleasant environment. This role is essential in helping to prevent infections and maintaining overall facility hygiene standards.Benefits and perks include health insurance, dental and vision, 401k, tuition reimbursement through ECPI, 1.5 holiday pay, 1.5 overtime pay for every hour worked over 40 hours per week, employee recognition programs, and daily pay.Essential duties and responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, and other assigned areas daily; collecting and properly disposing of waste, including medical waste and hazardous materials; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floors in all areas; collecting, sorting, and delivering linens and personal laundry; replenishing housekeeping supplies; identifying and reporting any maintenance or repair needs; adhering to safety standards; engaging with residents respectfully and compassionately; properly using and maintaining housekeeping tools and equipment; and participating in deep-cleaning projects.Job requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or residential settings preferred, but not required; strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to follow instructions; and the ability to lift, move, and carry heavy objects, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.About Eastern Healthcare Group: Eastern Health Group is a family of skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers.
