Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (1900–0730, 36 hours/week, 3 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs and establish a compassionate, supportive environment for patients and families
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
• Apply clinical judgment and critical thinking to recognize, act upon, and report changes in patient condition
• Provide health teaching and counseling to promote, attain, and maintain optimum patient health
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the patient medical record
• Supervise and delegate to licensed practical nurses and/or unlicensed assistive personnel, and serve as a patient advocate across the care team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Prior experience in an emergency department setting
