Position Summary

Tuxedo Concierge is looking for an energetic, adaptable and proactive individual to join our growing team. The Household Manager is a hands-on, entry-level role focused on routine household resets and standard household organization, as well as elevated tasks when requested. 

In this role, you will work solo inside client homes to help busy families transition from daily clutter to organized efficiency. You will own household standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure every element of your service aligns the "Tuxedo Standard." Key Responsibilities & Core Tasks

1. Space Resets

• Execute resets in all living areas of the home. Dishes. Kitchen and bathroom counter wipe down. Bed making and room tidy, etc.
• Perform decluttering sweeps: sort items and put back in their respective places.

2. Laundry Execution

• Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and putting clothes away.
• Assist with basic closet and drawer organization and garment hanging.
• Identify stains and treat them.
• Iron and steam garments if requested.

3. Elevated Services

• Light meal preparation: prepare ingredients for week night meals and afterschool snacks.
• Standard errand running: returns, donation drops, dry cleaning pick up/drop off, prescription and grocery pick up.

4. Client Relationship

• Offer encouraging, non-judgmental support through conversation and messaging.
• Offer product recommendations.
• Change tasks based on schedules, priorities and feedback of the client.
• Highlight areas where Tuxedo Concierge’s higher-tier services can further their household’s efficiency.
• Maintain client guardrails: non-scent rules, shoe-free entry, and privacy boundaries.

5. Service Documentation

• Navigate shared digital systems and cloud-based platforms to access client information, schedules, household preference sheets, and service notes.
• Accurately document what has been completed during each service visit, what is currently in progress, and what needs to be addressed during future visits.
• Upload photos and links to product recommendations.

Role Details & Growth Path

• Entry-Level Entry Point: No prior private household experience required—we provide training on the "Tuxedo Standard" protocols.
• Flexible Part-Time Hours: Ideal for those looking for flexible scheduling. Working hours are generally between 8:30-4
• Path to Advancement: As clients' homes become more efficient and their service needs expand, successful Household Managers have a clear trajectory to step into Lead Household Manager and Lifestyle Manager positions.

• Adaptable & High Emotional Intelligence: Ability to communicate comfortably with clients working through busy schedules. This includes face to face conversation and text messaging and email.
• Initiative-Oriented: Proactively identifies opportunities to improve organization and overall household efficiency. Confidently shares thoughtful ideas and recommendations with clients. 
• Hands-On: Enjoys active, physical work and takes pride in visible, immediate results.
• Detail-Conscious: Mindful of client instructions, item placement, and respecting personal spaces.
• Growth Mindset: Excited about working alongside an empowering team and joining a growing company!

Required:

• Able to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation and able to drive within a 30 mile radius of Annapolis, MD
• Willing to sign a non-compete
