Position Summary:

The role of the Manager, Specialty Pharmacy Operations is an exciting opportunity to take charge of day-to-day specialty operations across multiple contracted partner locations. As the ideal candidate, you'll be utilizing your strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy, focusing on creating and managing pivotal programs that drive client clinical and financial success. You will forge strong partnerships to craft and execute strategies that not only expand client programs but also uncover immediate avenues for growth and optimization. Essential Responsibilities/Duties:

  • You will provide oversight of operational responsibilities at partner sites, covering new and established growth programs at client sites.
  • Reporting onprogram performance, you extract and summarize reports and performance metrics via Salesforce.
  • Youassistwith the development and implementation of processes essential for specialty pharmacy program growth.
  • Managing day-to-day program operations and processes related to the specialty program, you ensure all standards are met.
  • Identifyingareas for program improvement, you collaborate with your team to devise solutions and support implementations.
  • Youare responsible foroverseeing designated staff at client sites to support the specialty pharmacy program.
  • Handling scheduling andtimecardmanagement of all staff, such as managing scheduled and unscheduled time off and coverage assignments at deployed sites (pharmacists, liaisons, etc.), youensure the program is adequately staffed for operation.
  • You provide day-to-day performance management and accountability to all dedicated account staff, inconjunctioncross-functional teams.
  • Activelyparticipatingin interviewing, hiring, orientation, onboarding, and recurring training of staff is one of your key responsibilities.
  • Creating a positive work environment and fostering teamwork and partnership at all levels is a top priority for you.
  • You support consistent engagement between in-clinic and pharmacy services at partner sites.
  • You serve as a direct liaison for all matters related to the specialty program and clinic workflow with clinical staff and providers.
  • Understanding clinical service needs, translating them into program standards, and
  • addressingchallenges and roadblocks by devising solutions and alternative approaches are areas where you excel.
  • You work directly with pharmacy teams to ensure the successful operation of the specialty pharmacy program andsupport withspecial projects asrequested.
  • You achieve local target goals by developing tactics to ensure ongoing client success.
  • You coordinate clinical care programs aligned with partner health systemobjectivesthrough the management of on-site staff.
  • You are focused onmaintainingstrong relationships with business units, clinical staff, and client leadership to ensure the success of programs.
  • You address partner inquiries promptly and witha high levelof service.
  • You adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization and ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws, accreditation standards, regulations, and rules.
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of the 340B drug program, insurance navigation, and basic pharmacy liaison workflows.
  • You are dedicated to creating andmaintaininga healthy work environment where people feel supported, accountable, and where standards are applied, and expectations are clear.

Education:

  • Bachelors or PharmD Pharmacy (B.S. or PharmD) isrequired.
  • MBA or other business degree preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

  • An active Pharmacist licensure (in good standing) to practice pharmacy in the state in which you are applying in or and/or the ability toacquirethis at the time of hire isrequired.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in pharmacy and prior leadership experienceisrequired.
  • Epic, Meditech, Cerner, and QS1 systems experience is highly desired.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare personnel, bothwithin and outside the department, in resolving situations anddemonstratingleadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy procedures, systems, and equipment, coupled withahigh levelofproficiencyin their execution.
  • Previousoversight experience involving pharmacy-related aspects inoutpatient/ambulatory clinics.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess and enhance current pharmacy services andprocedures through comprehensive data gathering and evaluative research.
  • Exceptional organizational and personnel management skills, serving as a role modeland ensuring a collaborative approach to operations.
  • Proficiencyin standard healthcare office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Access, webbrowser), coupled with knowledge of pharmacy and clinical database systems (e.g., QS1,Centricity, Meditech, Cerner, EPIC, SCM, etc.).
  • Self-management skills with the ability to work independently,displayinginitiative, strongwork ethic, and the capability toidentifyissues or opportunities requiring attention andchange.
  • Adept at creative problem-solving in resource-constrained situations, with the flexibilityto adapt and formulate alternativeplansas necessary.
  • Demonstratedproficiencyin process improvement skills and acumen.

Special Working Conditions(On-call, Travel, Shift, Coverage):

  • Required to travel locally to assigned sites primarily consisting of 20% remote and 80% on-site.

This information is being provided to promote pay transparency and equal employment opportunities at Clearway Health. The current annual compensation range for this position is $146,000 - $182,000. The actual rate within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. In addition to a competitive base salary, this role is eligible to participate in the companys bonus program as part of its comprehensive and rewarding benefits package. This opportunity offers a compelling combination of compensation and performance-based incentives designed to recognize and reward contributions.
