Office Manager II - Allison Creek Park

York County, South Carolina

About the Position Allison Creek Park, a premier recreational destination on the shores of Lake Wylie, is seeking a full‑time, non‑exempt Office Manager II in the Parks and Recreation Department. The Office Manager II will coordinate and manage all administrative, financial, and daily operations of the park and supervise the work of assigned staff. The position serves as a key member of the park leadership team and is responsible for overseeing administrative functions, guest services, reservations, and front‑line customer interactions, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and customer‑focused experience for visitors. Responsibilities Supervise, direct, and evaluate assigned staff, processing employee concerns, counseling, disciplining, and completing performance appraisals. Coordinate, assign, and review work, establish schedules, maintain standards, monitor status of work in progress, and inspect completed assignments. Provide customer service to telephone callers, forward calls to appropriate staff, take messages, relay information, and greet and assist visitors. Assist guests with park‑related questions, make camping and shelter reservations, perform camper check‑ins and check‑outs, and manage season pass sales. Process accounts receivable, follow up on overdue accounts, manage daily cash deposits and reconciliations, and maintain the office budget. Maintain bookkeeping systems, produce monthly reports, and handle purchase orders and requisitions. Order and maintain office supplies and operate the park store and concessions. Perform general administrative and clerical work, including data entry, mail processing, filing, faxing, and generating daily sales reports. Plan and promote special events such as movies, music events, and holiday events; assist with set‑ups and tear‑downs. Troubleshoot computer systems, MIS, and vendor issues to keep systems operational. Qualifications Associate’s degree. Three (3) years of administrative, clerical support experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. CPR and First Aid certifications required or the ability to obtain them. Benefits Competitive market‑rate pay, negotiable based on qualifications. State medical, dental, and vision insurance.
