This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, improving automation systems, and finding permanent solutions to recurring problems.You’ll work directly with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and Operations to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and keep automated manufacturing systems running safely and efficiently.What You’ll Be DoingTroubleshoot electrical, controls, automation, PLC, HMI, and instrumentation issuesProgram, modify, back up, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, servos, and industrial controlsSupport maintenance technicians during breakdowns and help reduce mean time to repairDevelop controls upgrades and automation improvements that increase reliability, safety, quality, and efficiencySupport preventive and predictive maintenance programsParticipate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring failuresSupport installation, commissioning, relocation, and start-up of new and modified equipmentMaintain electrical schematics, PLC programs, network diagrams, control narratives, and technical documentationProvide technical guidance and training to maintenance technicians and operatorsWork with vendors, contractors, OEMs, and internal teams on controls and equipment projectsWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of industrial controls, automation, electrical maintenance, or manufacturing maintenance experienceHands-on PLC and HMI troubleshooting and programming experienceExperience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platformsStrong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, servos, sensors, instrumentation, and machine safety systemsAbility to read electrical schematics, control drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentKnowledge of LOTO, arc flash, electrical safety, and OSHA/industry safety requirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
