Production Assembler I

Company: IPS Group is a design, engineering and manufacturing company focused on low power wireless telecommunications and parking technologies. The company is best known for its patented credit card enabled, solar powered single‑space parking meter and web‑based management system. Duties and Responsibilities Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and taping Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care Report any machinery issues to management Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals Maintain a clean and safe work area Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management Follow all written and verbal instructions Attend all safety and production trainings Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years’ experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred Must be available for occasional nights and weekends and overtime Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals Basic math, reading, and writing skills Basic computer skills Good communication skills Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis Able to stand for 8 hours with breaks Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Work Authorization Must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.
