FCAW Structural Steel Welder

Basic Job Responsibilities Interpret shop drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process and procedures. Perform AW (D1.1) FCAW welding techniques on structural steel components using FCAW‑G with precision and accuracy. Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and effectively. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives. Adhere to and follow all safety rules and PPE requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Must be able to pass 3G, 4G plate certification test in accordance with ASME and AWS D1.1 Codes. Experience with shop equipment including overhead cranes. Be a forward‑thinking individual and a self‑starter. Ability to work well with others and take instructions from supervisors. Must pass pre‑employment substance abuse testing. Schedule Monday–Friday, day shift. Occasional overtime and/or weekends as needed.
