Pediatrics - Infectious Disease (Assistant Professor)
The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is seeking to recruit an outstanding pediatric infectious diseases academic clinician to join the Department of Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases Division as an experienced Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidates must have an M.D. or equivalent degree, have completed at least three years of postdoctoral fellowship training, be board certified (if feasible) in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases and have Texas Medical Licensure by the starting date of their academic appointment. The major criteria for appointments for faculty are excellence in clinical care, teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the division's needs. Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will participate in the care of patients followed by the inpatient and outpatient Infectious Diseases Services, further the academic research of the division and be involved in teaching infectious diseases fellows and other learners.
