Senior Product Associate - Payments Data and Insights

As a Senior Product Associate in the JPMorgan Payments team, you contribute to the team by applying your product development and optimization skills to make a significant impact. You’ll use user research and customer feedback to drive the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. Job Responsibilities Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities based on customer and market needs through user research and discovery. Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience. Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and identify potential features that provide value to customers. Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics—including work‑to‑time, cost, and quality targets—across the product development life cycle. Write requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development. Define data strategy for the JPMorgan Payments business. Identify opportunities to invest in new data and analytics capabilities, either through internal development or external partners. Own the relationship with stakeholders of JPMorgan data platforms and products. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area. Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle. Experience in product life‑cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition. Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy. Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders or clients. Experience creating and executing complex business strategies in product and technology spaces. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization. Hands‑on experience in data and analytics using advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python). Formal education in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, or finance. Advanced knowledge of data platforms and infrastructure, particularly cloud infrastructure.
