Truck Driver / Operator The Role We are seeking a skilled Trash Smasher Truck Operator to join our team at Smash My Trash. If you have experience operating Dump Trucks, Garbage Trucks, Backhoes, ambulances, Fire Trucks, Buses, or similar vehicles, this position is perfect for you! Schedule Full Time - Mon-Fri, 8 hour shifts. 6AM Start time. You will be: Reporting directly to the General Manager. Responsible for driving our 25,000-pound truck on a designated route to service our customers and efficiently smash down their trash in dumpsters. Operating hydraulic machine equipment with precision to effectively compact our clients' trash. Adhering to all quality control procedures to ensure customer satisfaction with our service. Collaborating with team members to conduct SMASH demos for potential clients alongside our Smash My Trash Account Manager. Assisting other territories with smashing, training, and basic maintenance tasks as instructed by management. Supporting the Account Manager at area events and programs by bringing the Smash My Trash truck, addressing technical inquiries about the truck and smash system. Maintaining the truck and equipment by promptly reporting any issues or incidents to dispatch, conducting pre and post-trip inspections, and keeping the truck clean inside and out (minimum of once a month). Participating in training events to stay updated on new features, upgrades, or changes to Smash My Trash truck operations.
