Sr Accountant

Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate and complete financial records. Investigate account variances and discrepancies, identifying root causes and resolving issues promptly. Review, analyze, and interpret accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Manage critical components of the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Support annual audit activities by preparing documentation, responding to auditor requests, and assisting with audit deliverables. Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects that enhance accounting operations and financial reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 3-5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. Thorough understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting guidance to complex transactions. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and solve problems effectively. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and integrity. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience supporting ERP implementations, system upgrades, or process optimization initiatives is preferred.
