Emergency Veterinarian

Job Description Pet+ER is interested in adding an experienced Emergency Veterinarian (internship trained or 2+ years in ER) at our beautiful new hospital that opened in Hunt Valley, MD in June2023. We provide 24‑hour emergency and critical care services and the highest level of support possible to our patients and their owners. Our Hunt Valley hospital operates under the oversight of our Medical Director, Dr. Tanya Tag, who is a boarded criticalist. The state‑of‑the‑art new facility is equipped to handle the specific needs of each patient. The hospital is shared with board‑certified specialists in the following areas: Surgery Dentistry Neurology Canine Rehabilitation Internal Medicine Oncology Cardiology The facility provides a comprehensive suite of equipment and services all under one roof to handle the most severe animal injuries and illnesses, including digital radiology, in‑house lab, ICU, surgery suites, oxygen ward, isolation ward, and high‑flow oxygen. Our team of excellent support staff includes discharge coordinators and patient care coordinators to provide extra support for our doctors. We have a plentiful and interesting caseload, keeping all our staff engaged and providing many opportunities for employees to challenge themselves. Eligible candidates would be considered for relocation stipend and potential signing bonus. ER surgical experience is required to be considered for this position. Our compensation model is ProSal, with a base salary range of $140,000 to $185,000 with earning potential of $200,000–$270,000 when factoring in production. No negative accrual.
