Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Eugene, OR, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and event services. This role manages front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensures high standards of service, and supports staff scheduling, training, and performance. The General Manager monitors customer satisfaction, resolves guest concerns, and works closely with the culinary and events teams to execute menus and setups that align with client expectations. Additional responsibilities include managing budgets, inventory, vendor relationships, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also contributes to local marketing efforts, community engagement, and continuous improvement of operational processes. Qualifications Leadership and team management skills, including experience supervising diverse staff and fostering an inclusive work environment. Restaurant and hospitality operations expertise, covering front-of-house and back-of-house processes, event coordination, and guest service standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests, staff, vendors, and community partners. Financial and administrative skills, such as budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and inventory management. Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a focus on maintaining positive guest experiences. Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and workplace safety practices. Prior experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role in restaurants, hospitality, or events. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
