Critical Illness Recovery Hospital Registered Nurse
Custom Healthcare Solutions is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week night-shift contract assignment at a Critical Illness Recovery Hospital in Memphis, TN!
Assignment Details:
- Location: Memphis, TN
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights 7P-7A | 3x12 schedule, every other weekend required
- Pay Rate: $53/hour (weekly pay)
- Benefits available
EMR: EPIC
Facility Overview:
We are a Critical Illness Recovery Hospital our patients are high acuity and must have had at least a 3-night ICU stay prior to admission. We prepare patients for Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, Home discharge, or Palliative Care.
Patients may present with:
- Stroke
- TBI, spinal cord injuries
- Trauma and surgical complications
- Respiratory failure and ventilator dependence
- Cardiac failure and cardiogenic shock
- Non-healing wounds and complex medical conditions
The patients have had extended hospital stays prior to admission, with an average length of stay of 46 weeks.
Acuity:
- Highest acuity: patients on vents with vasoactive drips titrated upward
- Lower acuity: extended IV antibiotic therapy patients
