The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for guests at the hotel. As an individual contributor reporting to the Front Office Manager, this role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the guest experience. The Front Desk Agent uses property management software (Choice Advantage) and communication tools to efficiently manage bookings and inquiries. This position offers access to career advancement within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes
- Handle reservation management using booking systems
- Provide attentive and professional customer service
- Process payments accurately and securely
- Answer guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Resolve conflicts and guest concerns promptly
- Monitor the lobby to maintain a welcoming environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of customer service best practices
- Familiarity with reservation systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
