Pharmacy Manager - State College, PA

This opportunity is for a full-time Pharmacy Manager position within a retail pharmacy setting located in Mill Hall, PA. The role is a direct hire, with a variable schedule covering day and afternoon shifts.


Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaborative relationships with store operations teams and pharmacy associates, driving engagement and clearly communicating departmental and company strategies.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance by performing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in accordance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy department to build a profitable business, promoting script growth via clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available.
• Coordinate inventory control, including monitoring weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet demand while maximizing profits.
• Align departmental goals with seven key performance metrics, focusing on efficacy and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with medical-related inquiries and healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; lead training, coaching, discipline, and overall management of pharmacy team members.
• Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty.
• Communicate with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription-related questions and issues.
• Maintain a clean, orderly pharmacy environment and support ongoing staff development to improve performance and control labor costs.
• Prioritize and complete essential pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and handling customer will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
