Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30). Weekend requirement: Yes, every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Floating requirement: Yes, rotate through Labor & Delivery, circulator, baby RN, triage, and high-risk antepartum. On-call requirement: No.

Requirements

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (no exemptions).
• For first-time travelers: Minimum 3 years L&D RN experience.
• Experience in high-risk antepartum and teaching hospital settings preferred.
• Active RN license required at the time of submission; no pending licenses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assist in labor management and delivery processes.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor.
• Educate patients and families regarding care procedures and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Document patient assessments and care plans accurately and timely.
