C#/.NET + Python Developer
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week at Charlotte, NC
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Ideal Candidate
Develop and support production applications using C#/.NET. Independently write and understand Python code. Understand Data Science/ML workflows and concepts.
Move ML/Data Science models from development into production. Work effectively with databases such as Oracle/SQL. Understand cloud and container environments.
Troubleshoot problems across both application and Data Science layers. Collaborate effectively across Software Engineering and Data Science teams.
The primary application environment is C#/.NET, while Python is used for Data Science and ML-related functionality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both technologies and understand how Python/Data Science components integrate into and support .NET applications.
Candidates who are stronger in either .NET or Python will be considered, provided they have meaningful working experience with the other technology.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and support applications using C#/.NET.
Develop and maintain Python-based Data Science/ML components.
Integrate Python and Data Science functionality with .NET applications.
Deploy, productionize, and support Machine Learning/Data Science models.
Troubleshoot issues across both application and Data Science/ML layers.
Work with Oracle and SQL databases.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers.
Support applications and ML workloads in cloud/container environments.
Contribute to application modernization, deployment, and production support activities.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET.
Strong hands-on experience with Python.
Experience working with Oracle and/or SQL databases.
Understanding of Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning concepts.
Experience deploying and productionizing Data Science/ML models.
Ability to write, read, and troubleshoot Python code in a .NET application environment.
Understanding of software development and production deployment practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Candidates do not need to be equally strong in C#/.NET and Python. The key requirement is credible, hands-on experience with both technologies.
