Job Details

• Perform field testing and inspection of construction materials including concrete, soil, asphalt, masonry, and aggregates.
• Collect samples from active construction sites and document test results in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and project managers to help ensure construction materials meet project specifications and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field tests on concrete, carpentry/windows, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Observe construction activities and verify compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare samples for laboratory testing when required.
• Record data and complete detailed reports using company software and equipment.
• Operate testing instruments and maintain calibration records.

Ideal Candidate will enjoy working both outdoors and independently. Also, have an interest in construction, engineering, quality control, or inspection services.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
