Controller

The Controller will lead the accounting and finance function, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations while serving as a strategic business partner to executive leadership. This person will own financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, cash management, compliance, and help guide the company's financial strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting operations and supervise the accounting team. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Oversee month-end and year-end close. Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasting process. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions. Coordinate annual audits and tax filings. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Develop accounting policies, procedures, and process improvements. Partner with department leaders on financial planning and operational decisions. Lead and mentor the accounting/finance staff. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred). Progressive accounting leadership experience, ideally as a Controller or Assistant Controller. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Experience leading audits and managing cash flow. ERP experience and advanced Excel skills. Proven leadership and communication abilities. Ability to partner with executives and support strategic decision-making.
