We are currently looking for a friendly and competent Early Childhood Teacher to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for the care and supervision of children ages 1 month to 4 years, preparing lesson materials as directed by the lead teacher, maintaining a sanitary and infection free environment and participating as a collaborative member of a team of professionals. 

The successful candidate must enjoy working with children and be devoted to building a nurturing and safe learning environment. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of classroom activities and teaching methods.

Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:

• Work with the lead teachers to monitor the class and assure the growth, development and safety of all enrolled children.
• Attend to the personal needs of children.  Change diapers, assist older children with toileting, assist children with changing clothing, taking off and putting on shoes and general hygiene including hand washing and basic infection control behaviors such as covering a cough and use of tissues.
• Assist with lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment.
• Ensure the classroom environment is sanitary and infection free. 
• Collaborate with leadership staff to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
• Help implement lesson plans.
• Monitor the safety of children in the classroom and on the playground.
• Comply with state, school, and class rules and regulations.

Must pass a Criminal Background Check and test negative on a Urine Drug Screen.
