Assistant Store Manager

Assistant Store Manager plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized store focused on excellent customer service. Under the guidance of the Store Manager, they assist with supervising staff, managing merchandise presentation, completing paperwork, and preparing deposits. They perform stocking, cashiering, and other duties to maximize profitability, enhance customer satisfaction, protect assets, and reduce losses. Key Responsibilities Include Providing superior customer service by greeting and assisting customers, operating cash registers, and processing transactions. Opening and closing the store as needed. Supporting employee scheduling, training, safety meetings, and ensuring policy compliance. Managing merchandise flow, including receiving, stocking, restocking, and display setup. Maintaining accurate inventory through damage control, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork. Implementing and maintaining planograms for consistent merchandise presentation. Ensuring financial integrity via cashier accountability, key control, and cash handling procedures, including deposits and refunds. Assisting in store management during the Store Manager's absence.
