Clerks make sure the Deli is clean, well-stocked, and looks good. They ensure our products and practices follow all safety rules. Additionally, they help out in other parts of the store.This is a union position.Location: 1500 West 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55102Schedule: Regular shifts to include Monday, Wednesday and Sunday: 6am - 2pm and 9am - 4:30pm. Occasional positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Deli Clerks may occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to reach high shelving. Deli Clerks will utilize various equipment including but not limited to knives, slicers, and ovens. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person and over the phone. Additionally, Deli Clerks may occasionally work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer and be exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, natural molds, and loud noises. This position requires an individual to be at least 18 years old.
