Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel We're looking for Medical Surgical RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Baltimore, MD. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. The following responsibilities include: Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions. Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs. Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment. Educate patients on surgical procedures. Participate in discharge planning and create patient education plan as prescribed by physician. Physical requirements: stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty, lift 20 lbs easily, occasional 50 lbs patient transfers. Fast‑paced environment with potentially confused, agitated patients. Requirements : BLS, 2 Years. * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
