Food Prep Job Details

Monday - Friday | 7am - 2pm | $21.25/hr

Additional hours and days may be available for candidates with kitchen prep experience.

Food Prep Requirements

Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related work preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift

About the Food Prep Role

As a Food Prep, your responsibilities will include:

Prepare food ingredients according to recipes and production guidelines.
Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion fruits, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
Practice proper knife handling and safe food preparation techniques.
Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures during preparation and storage.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas.
Label, store, and rotate food products using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Assist cooks and kitchen staff with daily food preparation tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
