Principal Responsibilities Crew Member responsibilities include interacting with customers, operating the front counter, making sandwiches, and performing tasks associated with operating a store while upholding Jersey Mike’s operational standards. Provide food that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high-quality standards Provide service that is above and beyond for the customer Maintain a clean store and workplace Set up the store, including food preparation Food safety and sanitation, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc. Usage of slicer (18 years old and above only) Usage of tomato slicer (17 years old and above only) Follow directives of Operations Partner in execution of responsibilities Wage/Benefits Hourly position – Wages competitive Opportunities for Potential Growth In-House Training and Development Additional Job Requirements The primary requirement of a Jersey Mike’s employee is commitment to company goals. Food quality that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high-quality standards Providing customer service at the highest level possible throughout the restaurant Preferred Qualifications 0-1 year experience in food service 0-1 year experience in cash handling Physical Demands Incumbent performs constant vigorous physical tasks requiring long periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting, generally involving moderate muscular strain in addition to seeing, hearing, and talking.
