Department Information

Office of Registrar

Job Summary

Supervises the Graduation area of the Registrar's Office.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support for all staff and associated functions of the graduation area
• Plans and coordinates Commencement ceremonies
• Runs reports and processes to ensure data integrity within the area
• Coordinates student academic records review process for graduation and executes mass awarding for degree conferral
• Counsel and provide details to students and other stakeholders about Georgia Southern University's Academic Policies

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

• Three (3) or more years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to analyze and interpret data, and make independent decisions

Preferred Experience

• Supervisory experience
• Cross-cultural work experience

Proposed Salary

$53,456

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
